Settle Stories
We partnered with Settle Stories, an arts and heritage charity, to develop a visual identity that reflects their mission to unite people through storytelling. They wanted to retain elements of their original brand, such as the use of speech marks, while repositioning themselves as a warm, trusted educational voice.
The Goal:
To create a cohesive identity that feels inviting and approachable, while rooted in tradition. The brand needed to balance creativity with authority in the education sector and differentiate itself from competitors who often rely heavily on blue.
The Challenges:
The initial brief centred on their firebird mascot, but through audience research, we found this direction no longer resonated. This required a strategic shift to focus on storytelling itself, rather than a single character.
The Outcome:
We delivered a refreshed visual identity, including templates, guidelines, and icons. The system supports flexibility across digital and print, giving the team tools to expand their brand consistently.
The Impact:
Settle Stories are currently rolling out their new identity with a live campaign. The brand now positions them as a more authoritative, approachable presence in education, while giving them a strong foundation for future umbrella projects.
